Your data stays yours

When you sign in, we store your email address and a unique account ID. We do not ask for your name, phone number, or postal address. If you use Google sign-in, we receive what Google shares for authentication (typically email and basic profile details used to show your account in the app).

If you use our Chrome extension, it only runs when you click it on a tab you are viewing. It reads visible job-related content from that page so you do not have to copy long postings by hand, then opens reframed.cc with the job text and page URL in the link. The extension does not read your browsing history, does not run in the background on its own, and does not access pages you did not open the extension on.

Alignment checks and reframes require your CV as a .docx file (up to 5MB). We do not accept CV uploads in other formats for processing.

Job descriptions reach us when you paste text, fetch a link where our service can read the posting, or arrive via the extension as described above. Your CV and the job text are sent to our servers for each alignment check or reframe. For that run, we process the file and do not keep that upload as a separate stored "original" once the job is done.

If you turn on Save for next time, we store one copy of your .docx in your account so you can skip re-uploading. You can delete that saved copy at any time.

We store the following so you can use the product and see your results:

• Alignment check results: the score, summary, identified gaps and strengths, company and role where we inferred them, and the job text snippet needed to show your result. These are automatically deleted after 2 days.
• Reframed CV output: the generated .docx is stored so you can download it. These are automatically deleted after 7 days. You can delete individual results from your history at any time before they expire.
• Token balance and billing records: purchases and token usage for pay-as-you-go reframes, and subscription status for Pro, handled through Stripe as described below.

If you are on Pro, you can download your reframed CV as a PDF from the results page. That conversion runs on our infrastructure. We do not use a third-party advertising network for this; it is part of delivering the file to you.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing. Your email is used for authentication and service-related communication. We do not send marketing emails.

We use trusted providers to run Reframed:

• Authentication and storage: account data and results are hosted on Supabase with encryption at rest and in transit.
• Payments: card details are handled by Stripe and never touch our servers. We receive billing status and transaction references needed to unlock Pro or credit tokens.
• AI processing: CV text and job descriptions are sent to Anthropic (Claude) for alignment checks and reframing. Anthropic does not use this data to train models.

We use essential cookies for authentication only. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or advertising cookies.

Alignment check results are automatically deleted after 2 days. Reframed CV documents are automatically deleted after 7 days. You can delete any result from your history manually at any time before it expires.

To delete your entire account, including your email, token balance, subscription reference, and any remaining results, contact us and we will remove what we hold in line with our obligations and technical limits.

If we change this policy, we will update this page. We will not reduce your privacy protections without notice.
